{"id":658,"date":"2020-09-07T13:50:20","date_gmt":"2020-09-07T13:50:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/westbrookcookers.com\/?p=658"},"modified":"2022-04-10T10:31:24","modified_gmt":"2022-04-10T10:31:24","slug":"peanut-butter-and-banana-breakfast-bar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/westbrookcookers.com\/?p=658","title":{"rendered":"\u00a0Peanut butter and banana breakfast bar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Peanut butter and banana breakfast bar<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/westbrookcookers.com\/electric-conversions\/#controllable-13-amp\">https:\/\/westbrookcookers.com\/electric-conversions\/#controllable-13-amp<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>You will need:-<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 very ripe bananas<\/p>\n<p>340g crunchy peanut butter<\/p>\n<p>75ml runny honey<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>300g organic rolled oats<\/p>\n<p>110g chopped nuts and seeds mixed (or just sliced almonds if you prefer\u2026substitute your favourite option in here to tailor it to you)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><b>What to do next<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<p>ElectricKit oven &#8211; set to 170 degrees<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Using a hand or stand mixer mix the bananas, peanut butter, honey, cinnamon and vanilla essence together until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Tip in the oats, seeds and nuts and mix until combined.<\/li>\n<li>Line a half size roasting tin with bake-o-glide and tip the mixture into the tin smoothing it out with a spatula.<\/li>\n<li>Place on the second set of runners from the top in your baking oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.<\/li>\n<li>Set your cold plain shelf beneath (remove for the last 10 minutes)<\/li>\n<li>Allow the bake to cool completely before cutting into bars.<\/li>\n<li>These bars will freeze for up to 6 months or keep in wrap (bees waxed wrap is readily available now and is brilliant for this) and store in an airtight container for a week.<\/li>\n<li>Healthy Breakfast on the go!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>If you are in need of a little extra help with cooking on your AGA &#8211;
