{"id":1404,"date":"2021-02-10T13:08:14","date_gmt":"2021-02-10T13:08:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/westbrookcookers.com\/?p=1404"},"modified":"2022-03-23T11:29:48","modified_gmt":"2022-03-23T11:29:48","slug":"valentines-love-hearts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/westbrookcookers.com\/?p=1404","title":{"rendered":"Valentines Love Hearts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><em>To make your Valentines Love Hearts &#8211; You will need<\/em><\/p>\n<p>125g\/4oz butter<\/p>\n<p>60g\/2oz caster sugar<\/p>\n<p>185g\/6oz plain flour<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd tsp ground ginger<\/p>\n<p>125g\/4oz best dark chocolate<\/p>\n<p>125g\/4oz white chocolate<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>COOKING ON YOUR ELECTRIC<strong>K<\/strong>IT AGA COOKER &#8211; USE THIS RECIPE FOR ALL AGA COOKERS AND CONVENTIONAL COOKERS<\/p>\n<p><strong>Using your digital display on your ElectricKit Aga set your oven on 190 degrees.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/westbrookcookers.com\/electric-conversions\/#controllable-13-amp\">https:\/\/westbrookcookers.com\/electric-conversions\/#controllable-13-amp0<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook on the second set of runners down from the top, place the cold plain shelf beneath your Valentine Love Hearts to achieve the perfect bake<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Put the chocolates into separate bowls on to the back of the AGA to melt<\/li>\n<li>Soften the butter\u2026again leave on the AGA for a while<\/li>\n<li>Beat together the butter and sugar and then stir in the flour and ginger until it forms a smooth paste<\/li>\n<li>Flour your work surface and gently roll out the paste until \u00bd cm thick (you can make them thicker if you want less biscuits and more chunky\u2026bake them a little longer in this case)<\/li>\n<li>Using a heart shaped cutter cut out as many biscuits as you can, reform and roll out again until you have used all paste<\/li>\n<li>On a large baking sheet covered in bake-o-glide place your Valentines Love Hearts and bake in the baking oven for 12- 15 minutes. ( for conventional 2 oven Agas, set on the lowest set of runners with cold plain shelf above.) Conventional oven 190C until pale golden brown<\/li>\n<li>Remove and allow to cool completely<\/li>\n<li>Clean bake-o-glide and re use it on the baking tray\u2026this time it needs to go in the fridge<\/li>\n<li>Dip the bottom half of cooled biscuits in the melted dark chocolate and lay flat on the bake-o-glide. Pop into fridge and leave until set hard.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat the process with the melted white chocolate\u2026you could do two separate halves or overlapping\u2026experiment and have fun.<\/li>\n<li>Wrap up with tender love and give to your beloved (or eat the lot yourself in front of a soppy film.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"To make your Valentines Love Hearts -
